WELLNESS GUIDELINES FOR GROOMING SESSIONS

CARE DURING GROOMING

If the animal shows clear signs of stress during the grooming session—such as dilated pupils, panting, tremors, or increased heart rate—the activity will be stopped immediately, regardless of the stage of the condition. These symptoms can harm the animal's physical health and pose a risk to its psychological and emotional well-being. In these cases, the service will be rescheduled for another opportunity. We strongly recommend consulting your veterinarian for guidance on how to proceed in situations of significant stress.

Specific care for cats and rabbits

Cat and rabbit care is always performed with products and procedures specific to each species, excluding the use of perfumes or brighteners. Considering the well-being of these animals—especially cats, who instinctively reject odors unfamiliar to themselves—we do not recommend or use such products in these cases.

Important notes about grooming services

  • The service depends on the animal's behavior. Animals experiencing high levels of stress, aggression, or restlessness may make the service unfeasible.
  • Depending on the circumstances, multiple sessions may be recommended.
  • No service will be performed beyond the animal's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Animals with parasites, such as fleas or ticks, must be dewormed beforehand under the supervision of the attending veterinarian. After treatment, grooming may only be performed 36 hours later. It should be emphasized that no shampoo eliminates fleas or ticks; bathing after deworming is a step to remove traces of the parasites.
  • The prices presented in the table are for informational purposes only, but adjustments may be made depending on the condition of the animal's coat and breed. These adjustments are always communicated at the beginning of the service. This transparency ensures that those who use grooming services can make informed decisions and avoid surprises when receiving the service.
